The Everyday Triangle Scarf: Number One Asked Question

The Everyday Triangle Scarf pattern will forever be one of my proudest designs. It’s mindless, fast, and downright addicting to make. It’s versatile, chic – and yes, I really do wear mine almost everyday.

Since I published this pattern earlier this year, there is one question I get consistently: “Can you make the Everyday Triangle Scarf pattern with other yarn weights?” The answer, my friend, is yes. You can use ANY yarn weight with this pattern!

The answer, my friend, is yes.

When I first created this design, I actually used a worsted weight yarn. Later on, I realized I loved the look that I achieved with the wool roving you see in the pattern photos. However, I still will use worsted weight from time to time. My latest Everyday Triangle Scarf was made with a hand dyed worsted weight yarn that I found from a local dyer and yarn shop on our trip to Alaska earlier this summer.

So tell me, what yarn is your favorite to use for the Everyday Triangle Scarf pattern? Tag me in your latest Everyday Triangle Scarf post on Instagram, or use the #everydaytriangle hashtag!

I’ve been wondering about this and love seeing this pattern in a worsted weight to get a visual! I have a wool blend in my stash will make an awesome triangle scarf, and I hope to get it done soon.
