Free Crochet Pattern: Nest Blanket

Create your own little nest to cozy up in wherever you go. Close your eyes, pick your colors, and dive into this easy stripe crochet blanket! The Nest Blanket is the perfect size for a lap blanket to snuggle up under on the couch, a crib blanket in a baby’s nursery, or throw it in your car for your next spontaneous adventure.

The Nest Blanket pattern is made with the absolute beginner crocheter in mind, but a quick project like this is a breath of fresh air for crocheters of all levels. With this chunky yarn, your stitches are easy to see and you get instant gratification with how quickly this crochet project works up.

I designed this blanket for our little one’s nursery, but let me tell you – I’ve been using it all over the house! This chunky yarn creates just the right amount of squish for tummy time and it’s perfect to thrown on your lap during a marathon of your favorite show.

You really can’t go wrong with this yarn – Pick 5 of your favorite shades and mix them up in the order you like best! With beautiful bold stripes, it creates a colorblock look that goes anywhere and everywhere.

The Magic of This Yarn

When this yarn launched last year, it sold out in a matter of days. It’s no surprise why because this yarn is just so good. It’s soft, easy-care, affordable and have you seen the colors it comes in?!

When I designed my Make A Statement Scarf, I was blown away at how amazing all the colors looked together. You could close your eyes and pick different colors and I can guarantee they would look beautiful together.

It’s not often that you find a yarn with a color palette like this. It’s perfect for accessories, garments, and blankets. Take a look and grab 5 of your favorites for this blanket!
