Free Crochet Pattern: Slate Wrap

The Slate Wrap was designed for crocheters of all abilities to be able to make. What’s essentially a giant rectangle turns into a gorgeous wrap that’s easy to style and wear. Whether you’ve crocheted for decades or are a beginner learning the ropes, this pattern is a great project that uses basic stitches to keep it simple with colorwork to gorgeous detail.

The Slate Wrap is mindless to make and with bulky yarn and double crochet stitches, it works up super fast! With big toggle buttons, this wrap is easy to take on and off. I love wearing it as a poncho during our snowy, Michigan winters but it would be great to keep around your home or office for when you’re feeling a little chilly!

The Yarn

If you’ve never used Wonderfluff before, prepare yourself for the softest, coziest yarn around. This yarn lives up to it’s name and is super fluffy and lightweight, but soo cozy and warm. The best part is that even though it has a delicate feel, it’s a sturdy yarn that will hold up beautifully.
